How to use the Grace supplement tracker

When did you last take your supplements? Can you remember what day? Do you know which type of supplements it was? Was it an iron supplement, folic acid or one of your prenatal vitamins?


If you’ve recently learned of all the benefits and how supplements contribute to your ability to conceive, you must be familiar with the importance of taking them daily and timely. However, with so many things to be mindful of when trying to conceive, it can be difficult to keep track of everything. But... What if there was a way to keep note, monitor and track every time you took your supplements and vitamins?


Well, if you haven’t seen the Grace supplement tracker yet you might want to update the app to the latest version first. But before you do, let’s cover what it’s all about, where to find it and how it works.

Why use the Supplement Tracker?

Grace has always been pro helping women like you be in control of their bodies. If you are trying to conceive, you might already be aware of the slight sacrifices and adjustments required to help you conceive. However, it’s possible to forget or miss out on some of them for one reason or another. In order to make it simpler for everyone TTC, the tracker can now help you maintain the best conditions for getting and staying pregnant. This will require you to form a daily habit of tracking which supplements you consumed especially for daily supplement intake like Folic acid. By doing this you help yourself and your doctor to keep track of your supplement intake.

What is a Supplement Tracker?

Like any other tracking feature in the Grace app, the supplement tracker records when activity was done. In this case the supplement intake, and stores it for you for future reference. This feature will help you track three main supplements:

  • Folic acid

  • Prenatal supplements

  • Iron supplements

Ideally, the tracker would be most suitable for those with a get pregnant goal in the app but could also benefit those who are working to sustain their pregnancy.




Where can I find the Supplement Tracker in the App?

Those who are already familiar with Grace app features might have a rough idea of what to expect. Can’t wait to start tracking? here’s where to find it:

1. In the Home page

The first screen you see when you open the app is called the homepage/home screen. Here you can use the tracker from two places. The first is via the plus sign button with the word track. This button is also where to find all other trackers in the app. Alternatively, you could use the plus sign on the left of the section name 'Recently tracked'


2. In the Calendar page

From the calendar page, you can either track supplement intake by clicking on the exact date you took the supplement or use the plus sign under the Recently tracked category. A small guide is found at the bottom of the calendar that highlights what icon represents what tracker. Use this to distinguish which supplement you tracked.


How does the Supplement Tracker work?

Now that you know what it is and where to find it, let’s discuss how to use it. Whether on the home page, calendar page or under the "recently tracked" section, all you need to do is click on the plus sign button which opens all trackers.


Then select the supplement tracker and choose between the options. You can select one or more options at a time. A new screen will appear that asks you to select on which day you took the supplement where you will choose the current date and press confirm.

Later on, you could either refer to the supplements tracked in the "recently tracked" section, both in the Home page and the Calendar page. The difference is that on the home page you'll only see what was recently tracked, and on the Calendar page, you can see more in detail how many days you tracked each supplement as well.
